BURIED INSIDE (CAN) & TOMBS (USA)

Canadian post metal band Buried Inside arrive in Finland on December 1st with American genre fellow Tombs. The show takes place at Dante's Highlight in Helsinki.

COSMOBILE & STRYPER (USA)

Indie rock band Cosmobile's sophomore CD Making Do is released on October 14th. The album with its American-styled alternative music works as a survivor's guide in today's life's hectic information overload and experience hysteria. Check the band's forthcoming gigs here.

American hard rock band Stryper arrive in Finland for their first club show early next year. In addition to their music, the band are known for their Christian conviction, throwing Bibles in the audience and the yellow-black bee costumes they used in the 80's. The show takes place at Nosturi on January 30th.

SAMARA LUBELSKI (USA)

American singer songwriter Samara Lubenski will play a show at Semifinal on November 30th. The evening will be opened up by domestic Kuupuu.

THE SONICS (USA)

Garage rock legends The Sonics is coming to Finland for the very first time. The highly influential band will play Nosturi, Helsinki on November 29 with The Flaming Sideburns. The Sonics has inspired bands from Nirvana to The White Stripes to The Cramps and have also been called the first punk band in the world. The band broke up in 1968, reformed once in 1972 and is now back, playing only a handful of shows around the world.

NO SHAME NEWS & TOXIC HOLOCAUST (USA)

Strengthened with a new drummer Saska Ketonen, punk band No Shame are finally ready to continue gigging after almost a year’s break! In the beginning of 2010, the band will release a new album which was recorded last autumn with the former No Shame drummer Teemu Horto. The first single Better Drunk than Part of the Machine (Parempi kännissä ku osa niiden koneen) will be released on October 7th.

American thrash metal band Toxic Holocaust arrive in Finland to play at Nosturi, Helsinki on November 26th. The stage will be warmed up by domestic Axegressor.

DOWNSTAIRS NEWS

Alternative rock band Downstairs release their sophomore album DWNSTRS on November 4th. The opening track of the album, Sea Life, can now be listened to on the band's Myspace. DWNSTRS is available for pre-ordering at Fullsteam's web store and a limited amount of albums come with a unique tee custom-made by the band.

CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX (UK)

Including members of the likes of Mogwai and Electric Wizard, British post rock collective Crippled Black Phoenix arrive in Finland for two shows in November. The first concert takes place at Nosturi, Helsinki on November 2nd and the second one at Klubi, Turku the following night.

RUBIK NEWS

Indie rock band Rubik start their month-long North American tour today. The tour includes over twenty shows at clubs and indie music festivals. You can read Rubik's blog from the tour here and check the whole concert schedule here. The bands sophomore album Dada Bandits was released in the US and Canada two weeks ago.

LOST IN MUSIC FESTIVAL

The third edition of city festival Lost in Music takes place in Tampere on October 21-24. During the four days, over 80 artists perform in altogether 12 different venues. More information here.

NEW SHOWS

Several forthcoming concerts will be warmed up by interesting international acts. Danish heavy music band Pilgrimz will play with Raised Fist in Helsinki and The Haunted in Turku and with both bands in Mikkeli. Street Dogs and Civet are bringing along Swedish punk rockers The Part Timers to Helsinki. The Devil Wears Prada's concerts in Turku and Helsinki will be opened up by British hardcore group Your Demise and Swedish hardcore / metal act Jesaiah. The Sounds tour will be warmed up by up-and-coming American indie duo Matt and Kim. Check out more specific concert dates here.

THE VALKYRIANS, THE CAPITAL BEAT & CALLISTO

Ska bands The Valkyrians and The Capital Beat both release new full-lengths in September. A joint album release party is thrown at Tavastia on Friday 25th. Check other tour dates here.

Post metal band Callisto arrive in Helsinki after a long while. The show takes place at Nosturi next Saturday, win tickets here or here.

American indie electro funk band YACHT arrive in Finland to play at Redrum's Misf*ts club. The gig takes place on October 15th.

FIRST AID KIT (SWE)

Swedish folk indie band First Aid Kit arrive in Finland to follow up their successful show at this year's Ruisrock. The sibling duo will play at Tavastia on November 2nd.

THOSE DANCING DAYS (SWE)

Swedish indie pop band Those Dancing Days arrive in Finland next month. Their last planned Finnish gig at Mosters of Pop last weekend was cancelled due to an illness. The substitutive concert takes place at Korjaamo in Helsinki on October 3rd.

ISIS (USA), DÄLEK (USA) & MAMIFFER (USA)

Post metal band Isis (USA) will return to Finland after succesful festival shows in Tuska and Ilosaarirock. The show takes place at Nosturi on November 6th - support acts are Dälek (USA) and Mamiffer (USA)

GLASS CANDY (USA) & DESIRE (USA)

The hottest names of today's electronic music and nu-disco, American Glass Candy and Desire, arrive in Finland for two gigs on their European tour. The first one takes place at Klubi, Tampere on November 11th and the second one at Misf*ts club in Redrum, Helsinki, the day after.

MUSTASCH (SWE)

With their fifth studio album due on September 30th, Swedish stoner rock / metal band Mustasch arrive in Finland for five concerts in November. The tour starts at Klubi in Tampere on November 3rd and continues at Klubi in Turku, Tavastia in Helsinki, Teatria in Oulu and Rytmikorjaamo in Seinäjoki the following nights. All shows will be warmed up by domestic Plutonium Orange.

THE GHOST OF A THOUSAND (UK)

British hardcore band The Ghost of a Thousand join Anti-Flag, Alexisonfire and Four Year Strong at The Eastpak Antidote Tour that arrives in Finland in November. The tour will stop at Rytmikorjaamo, Seinäjoki on November 20th and at Nosturi, Helsinki the next day.

THE LIVING END (AU) & RIVERSIDE (POL)

The most popular Australian punk band The Living End return to Finland to play their first Finnish club show at Tavastia on November 9th. The show will be organised in co-operation with Live Nation.

Fullsteam is also proud to announce Polish progressive metal band Riverside's mini Finnish tour. The first show takes place at Klubi, Tampere on November 26th and continues the following nights at Lutakko, Jyväskylä and Nosturi, Helsinki.

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA (USA) & PIERCED ARROWS (USA)

Metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada pay their long-awaited first visit to Finland on November 7th at Klubi (Turku) and November 8th at Nosturi (Helsinki). Both shows are all ages.

We are also happy to announce that garage rock act Pierced Arrows (ex Dead Moon) will play at Klubi (Tampere) on September 7th and Tavastia (Helsinki) on September 8th. Tickets are now available at Tiketti.

THE MOVEMENTS (SWE) & HJALTALÍN (ISL)

Swedish garage rock band The Movements finally pay their first visit to Finland on September 5th. Bar Loose's stage will be warmed up by domestic Dead Black Asteroid and DJ Hank.

Icelandic indie rock band Hjaltalín arrive in Finland to play three concerts and cheer their country's football team at the women European Championships. The shows take place at Klubi, Tampere on August 23rd, Torvi, Lahti on August 25th and Liberte, Helsinki on August 28th.

THE JESUS LIZARD (USA)

Alternative rock legend The Jesus Lizard are finishing up their live career with their final European tour. Fortunately, it makes a stop in Finland, too, and the band play their first ever Finnish show at Tavastia on September 16th. The stage will be warmed up by domestic FUN.

THE SOUNDS (SWE) & DISCO ENSEMBLE NEWS

Combining new wave guitar rock and synth pop, Swedish The Sounds arrive in Finland for five shows in December. The Finnish tour starts on December 15th and includes Klubi in Turku, Pakkahuone & Klubi in Tampere, Teatria in Oulu, Rytmikorjaamo in Seinäjoki and Kaapelitehdas in Helsinki.

Disco Ensemble's song Golden Years from the ep Back on the MF Street will be featured on EA's NHL 2010 soundtrack. More information here.

NITE JEWEL (USA)

American electro pop group Nite Jewel arrive in Finland for the first time to play two gigs. The first show takes place at Dynamo in Turku on September 24th and the second with Dinosauruxia and Nightsatan at Korjaamo's Kulmasali in Helsinki the next night.
